Since I have a penchant for felines, I dedicate this blog to my random cat-related finds. This one got me curious and I initially thought it was merely a collection of cute Hello Kitty figures in different poses - but it is more than just an eye candy!

Tsum Tsum is a Japanese word which means "to stack" and the principle of this game is very basic. Stack the 8 Hello Kitty figures, 5 apples, and 2 bags as high as possible without toppling them over.

This can be a good pastime if you are bored out of your wits but I do not acquire toys for the sole purpose of entertainment. I passionately collect them and I will probably keep doing it till I am old and grey! To give you a better idea how it works, see the illustration below:

The only downside is its availability if you are living outside Japan. I suppose this is an exclusive release and I am one of the lucky few to bag this rare goodie! Although this was listed as BRAND NEW, it does not look pristine anymore. Notice the creased packaging? The paint job was awful and there were obvious defects. Be careful if you are going to transact online, some sellers have a knack for deceiving buyers.
